The first thing I noticed was the scent. Honestly it smelled like cologne but that's not a bad thing. I loved it so much as soon as I opened the box. Upon lighting it, the scent soon filled the room and it was the perfect strength. I'm impressed that such a small candle could fill a whole room with such a wonderful fragrance. The candle lasts a long time too, so don't be fooled by its small size. The mini candles are only $3.50 and can be purchased online at their website or in store so pick one up today. You won't regret it!
I received Kiss Ever PRO Lash Starter Kit in my Influenster Beauty Bloggers VoxBox and I'm in love! Influenster is a website that sends its members complimentary products when they qualify, all for reviewing and spreading the word. So here's my review of Kiss lashes!
First, they are super easy to apply. Just use the little tweezers they include and it couldn't be easier, even with a slight tremor.
Second, the glue hold amazingly well! I was able to sleep in these lashes without them coming off!
Third, the results... they are stunning. The fullness is dramatic and the color (black) is amazing. They are so long, even my own naturally long lashes can't compete!

As a former ballerina, I'm pretty proud of my bun skills, so it's very hard to really impress me with products that are intended to help. Goody has really done the job however.
They are very easy to use, just twist hair into a bun, then spin each pin into the bun from top and bottom to hold it in place. It took me two tries to really get the hang of it, but once I did, it's become the easiest way to make a bun. The packaging has directions for two other cute styles as well. Overall, I couldn't be happier and as a dancer, it's awesome to have a product that gives me a great bun, that fastens securely, and takes only a couple seconds to use. I'd recommend these to anybody who has hair long enough for a bun and wants a quick and simple way to accomplish a beautiful hairstyle. Thanks to Goody and Influenster for the wonderful product.
As a member of Influenster, I received their Beauty Bloggers VoxBox earlier this month. One of the amazing products in the box was NYC New York Color IndividualEyes Custom Compact. I received the shade Dark Shadows which would be great for any eye color. I took it from a daytime look to a beautiful sultry smokey eye with no effort at all. This awesome compact has four shades from white to black, a primer, and an illuminator! What I think I like most is the illuminator since it does wonders for the whole look. I swiped a little on my browbone to make my eyes really pop. It has an easy to follow tutorial on the back for women who aren't sure how to best use it, but it's worth playing around and finding the look that works for you! I'm definitely planning on picking up more shades, especially the one for brown eyes called Central Park, since it would actually look stunning with my green eyes. One of the awesome items in my Influenster Bride-to-Be VoxBox was RESCUE Remedy Natural Stress Relief Gum and I've really enjoyed it. I was more than a little skeptical about how well it would actually work but I'm very impressed. It's got a mildly citrus flavor. My only complaint is that the taste doesn't last long enough but it's delicious.
As far as the stress relief goes, it works. I've always enjoyed chewing gum and it's neat having gum that specifically helps with stress, which, let's face it, future brides have so much of. All I have to do to feel calmer is chew one piece and I almost immediately start feeling better. It's helped me deal with being chased by a dog, wedding planning, and dealing with the family and fiance.

In my Bride-to-Be VoxBox from Influenster I received a little bottle called Dream Water. I wasn't sure if it would even work as I tend to be skeptical of things that are natural sleep aids, since I've tried so many. I take medication to help me sleep at night but I talked to my doctor about trying it and we agreed it wouldn't hurt to try.
Dream Water is all natural and zero calorie! You just drink the little bottle and fall asleep after around a half hour. Sound too good to be true? I wondered but I was excited to test it out and see if it would work.
The Dream Water itself tastes good. The flavor I got is called Snoozeberry (that's blueberry pomegranate) I wasn't so sure I'd like it because I usually hate artificial blueberry flavor even when combined with yummy pomegranate, but this didn't have that flavor I can't stand. It was delicious! It's slightly sweet but not in a sugary way.
The bottle says to drink it about thirty minutes before you want to sleep and I'd agree that's accurate. I drank it, shut off my computer, and grabbed my Kindle. Before I knew it, I was turning off the Kindle and settling in for what would be a great night's sleep!
In the morning I woke up feeling refreshed. No groggy feeling, no medicated feeling, I just felt like I had the best night's sleep ever. I would recommend anybody try this. If you currently take meds to help you sleep, talk to your doctor about giving Dream Water a shot. I'm already budgeting to buy more because it's seriously awesome. I love that I may not be dependent on medication to help me sleep anymore!

I've been excited to try the Kiss everEZlashes and they didn't disappoint! They say it's no mess application and they are right. They're pretty easy but I don't have a steady hand, so that didn't help my first attempt. Overall, they look cute and with a little adjustment they look great. The strings really do make it easier; it's not a gimmick. You can find a demonstration video at Kiss's website. I like the look and I'll definitely be using them for the wedding. They have different styles so you can try different looks; I may go more dramatic but these are great for everyday. I wore them while I was running errands and I actually had a woman compliment my lashes! They are just as easy as mascara and the impact is much better. Overall, I highly recommend giving them a try. I had some time to kill before a recent concert and I wandered into my favorite DSW store to look around and possibly use the $50 bonus card I won in their weekly contest on Facebook (seriously check out the DSW Facebook page for awesome giveaways) and I ended up walking out with three awesome pairs of shoes and the most comfy socks I've ever had for about $5 total. I know I've already done a skin care routine post before but I had to share a new product I've found! It's pore strips by Boscia! I'm in love with their black mask so one day at Sephora I decided to give them a shot. They're a little pricier than Biore but I decided it might be a worthwhile investment. I immediately tried one when I got home and I was blown away! My pores were clearer and smaller and my skin on my nose was radiant, just like the mask. If you are looking for a wonderful pore strip that will not only clean out your pores but leave your skin looking fresh and beautiful, Boscia is worth it.

Yesterday I decided to do something new with my hair so I picked up a box of L'Oréal Healthy Look hair color in shade 5G (golden truffle). It lasts 28 shampoos so I knew if I didn't like the color I wouldn't be stuck with it for long but now I'm sad I'll only have it a short time. The color I ended up with is beautiful! It only takes 10 minutes for rich color. One major benefit is it doesn't smell bad like most hair colors do. I was pleasantly surprised. Also, one box did my long thick hair. I picked up two just to make sure, and instead of taking the other back, I plan to keep it for next time I want gorgeous color! There's not too much to say about it because the results speak for themselves.
Modern Mom recently sent me the Oral-B Professional Healthy Clean Precision 1000 toothbrush to try and it's hands down the best toothbrush out there. My mouth feels so clean and I can't wait to see how impressed my dentist will be. The battery life on it is good although I just keep it on the charger. I love that it signals you every 30 seconds to switch areas of the mouth so you know you're cleaning long enough. It's a bit noisy, but that's not a deterrent to using it at all because it's not too loud and it works so well. I can definitely tell what a difference it's made getting rid of plaque and with less effort than a manual toothbrush. Honestly, I've always been skeptical of power toothbrushes but Oral-B has changed my mind. This brush is a great investment and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a better clean!
I went to a concert last week and wanted to do something fun with my hair. So when I saw Splat Washables for $5.00 at Walmart, I couldn't resist giving them a shot. It's a fun product from Splat with colors like blue, red, purple, and pink that promises to wash out in one shampoo. And it worked! The color payload is fantastic. It's also not a typical temporary color gel because you can comb through it once it's dry. I was concerned that it wouldn't last through the entire concert but it really did! So sweating and time didn't wash them out prematurely. They will however wash out in one shampoo as promised, so there's no risk of being stuck with hair color you don't want.
After the concert and in dimmer lighting, this is what I had. I'm impressed and I'll definitely use Splat Washables again for more fun no commitment hair colors!

Thanks to SheSpeaks I recently received a package that included Clear Scalp & Hair Therapy shampoo and conditioner. The Clear website claims the shampoo and conditioner will give you "stronger, more beautiful hair in 7 days" so I decided to put that claim to the test. I'm pleased with the results. Over the last week, my hair has looked shinier, felt softer, and my scalp seems healthier. It has always been a little dry and flaky, but over the last 7 days my scalp has improved noticeably. The scent is great and my hair smells good all day long, not just for the duration of my shower like with a lot of hair care products. I'm loving the results and I'd recommend anybody take the 7 day challenge because I bet it will improve your hair in a week too.
